We want every guest at Kintail Retreats to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing stay in this special part of the Highlands. Please take a moment to read our house rules before your visit.

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: from 4:00pm
  • Check-out: by 10:00am

Please respect departure times so the lodges can be fully prepared for incoming guests

Respect the Peace & Surroundings

Kintail Retreats is designed to be a quiet escape. Please be considerate of neighbouring lodges and keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10:00pm.

No Smoking

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the lodges. Please use outdoor areas responsibly and dispose of cigarette ends safely.

Pets 

Well-behaved small dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please keep pets off furniture and never leave them unattended in the lodge.

Maximum Occupancy

Only the number of guests included in the booking may stay overnight unless agreed in advance. The lodges have one superking bed and one sofa bed only suitable for a child.

Care of the Lodge

Please treat the lodge and its contents with care and leave everything in a reasonable condition on departure. Any damage or breakages should be reported as soon as possible.

BBQs & Fire Safety

If using a BBQ, please do so safely away from the lodge, and never leave it unattended. Open fires and fire pits are not permitted.

Parking

Please park only in designated areas and avoid blocking access routes.

Highland Environment

The Highlands are home to wildlife, livestock, and changing weather conditions. Please respect the natural environment and take care around uneven ground and waterfront areas.

Before You Leave

  • Wash and put away used dishes
  • Place rubbish in the appropriate bins
  • Ensure windows and doors are closed
  • Turn off lights and heating where possible
